How extraordinarily sad that during the week kicked off by Indigenous People's Day, Dem and GOP elected officials unified to misuse U.S. tax money to actively support the atrocity of genocidal mass massacres of trapped indigenous Palestinian kids and their families by corrupt strongman Netanyahu. He uses the pathetic tired trope of “Hamas uses them as human shields” as a would-be free pass to engage in the hate-driven holocaust of the Palestinian people.

The correct response to “X number of kids were killed by military terrorism” is never “let's go kill at least 10X kids ethnically related to the first group of military terrorists.” Yet, appallingly, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Pat Ryan agree with the GOP in Congress that actively aiding and abetting Netanyahu's lust to do just that, with our dollars, is the way to go.

It's just another reason why our country desperately needs ranked choice voting to free itself from the corrupt Dem/GOP duopoly. Thank you for the fine article this paper published on Oct. 5, “No Country for Third Parties,” by James Rothenberg. He writes that it's no secret that third parties are fenced in, yet due to common ignorance, many Americans do not know about election laws and the requirements to get candidates (of the Dem/GOP duopoly, or alternative parties) on the ballot, and how the requirements, set in place by the corrupt ruling duopoly make it near impossible for alternative parties to get a candidate on the ballot. For real improvement, I'd recommend that voters consider write-in candidates on occasion, and that we all support alternative parties and ranked-choice voting.
