The Yasgur Benedict, an Electric Egg Sandwich, and a Blitzed Burrito are some of the fun names of food items on the menu of a new restaurant called the Woodstock Way Groovy Eatery. The restaurant is just a few miles from the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival location. We stopped by to talk to Sara Galloway who created the menu and is the manager.

"Everything has a hippie name like the Far-out Feta Omelet, the Sizzling Santana, and Psychedelic Cheese," she giggled. "Our morning munchies are one of our biggest hits for breakfast because you get a little bit of everything so it's perfect for everyone," she added.

The restaurant is where Brother Bruno's Italian Restaurant used to be, but today, Woodstock-era decorations abound, including a giant wall-poster of the crowds during the music festival, pictures, and posters. the owner, Fouad Kerendian has a long history with the building. After Brother Bruno left, he decided to open a restaurant with a Woodstock theme. Galloway says they have lots of "groovy" plans for the restaurant in the coming months.

"We're bringing in live music and comedy shows," she said. "We have lots of ideas and we hope the local community supports us and keeps it going because we offer good vibes and food," she added.
