SCHOOL BOARD MEETING OF JUNE 12

Absent from this meeting were Superintendent John Evans and High School Principal Adam Larson.

Audit Committee Report: Sue Peters of the accounting firm Cooper Arias provided the board with a brief entrance conference.

Administrative Reports: Reports were given by Jeff Froehlich, school business manager; Lauren Marrero, director of special services; David Eggleton, director of physical education; and Chris Hubert, elementary principal.

Public Comment: There were comments regarding sports and the Director of Educational Programs, Services and Athletics, a new position being created. Eggleton and James Buck, board president, responded.

Action Items: The following were approved as recommended.

Minutes, treasurer’s report, revenue status and budget appropriation reports.
Warrants dated April 5 and 19, 2024.
CSE-CPSE and Section 504.
Dispose of CPR dummies and bags.
Grant tax-exempt status to a parcel of land in the Village of Liberty which contributes water to the watershed.
Adopt LMCSD Reserve and Fund balance as presented.

Consent Agenda: The consent agenda was approved as presented. The item of note was the board’s the creation of the director position for Educational Programs, Services and Athletics and its approval of the probationary appointment of Chris Hubert in the position with a salary of $139,907 for the school year 2024-25.
